Profile of Haris Sohail
A promising left-handed batsman, Haris Sohail made his ODI debut for Pakistan against West Indies in July 2013. He hit a steady 26 before being dismissed by Kemar Roach. He has played a few ODIs since then, but is yet to click on the big stage.

Sohail has been a key batsman for Sialkot and Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited, churning out 3,849 First-Class runs at an average of over 50. Having such a good domestic record, a recall to the national side was not far away. Sohail made his comeback to the ODI unit in the New Zealand series, he contributed immediately, scoring 85 not out and taking Pakistan home from a difficult situation. Sohail also bowled in the five-match series, picking six wickets.

With Mohammad Hafeez not allowed to bowl due to a suspect action, the Pakistan team management have looked up to Sohail to bring balance to the side. Hence he has been selected for the 2015 World Cup.
