CHAUDHRY Nisar’s additional role of the defence lawyer of the Lal Masjid cleric is quite contrary to the government’s new posture. His statement seems to indicate that it’s only posturing as the government still does not have the will to fight this scourge. When did the cleric write this apology? To whom was it addressed? Have the parents of the APS children accepted it?
It is this pusillanimous approach over the years that has brought things to this state. It is time it changed.
